Wendy Nixon, Co-Founder and Senior Vice President of D.A. Everett Construction, has been a transformational leader, driving exponential growth and operational success. Since co-founding the firm in 2013 with the firm’s owner, Donovan Everett, she has played a pivotal role in the expansion of the company into a thriving enterprise. Wendy was also instrumental in the establishment of a new Charlotte region office including doubling the workforce. With her leadership, D.A. Everett has cultivated a strong, development-focused culture, earning consecutive Fast 50 awards and a #6 ranking in 2024.

With over two decades of industry experience, Wendy has led strategic initiatives across HR, finance, risk management, and business development, achieving 85% workforce diversity and strengthening client engagement. She is also deeply committed to community impact, forging partnerships with organizations like Raleigh Farm, the Triangle YMCA, and multiple local school systems. Wendy is also a member of Charlotte CREW and NAWIC Charlotte Chapter. A trailblazer in the construction industry since 1998, Wendy continues to champion mentorship, diversity, and meaningful industry transformation as she leads D.A. Everett into its next phase of growth.
