Fuquay-Varina High School

This project included 380,000 SF of new construction and associated athletic facilities. The school design called for salvaging Buildings E and F and re-imagining the 50-acre site by constructing a state-of-the-art facility featuring 112 teaching spaces in a new four-story academic wing with two towers. The renovation included the addition of open collaborative spaces throughout, enabling better circulation of traffic and increased natural light. This newly renovated school boasts large and well-equipped classrooms and lab spaces, a new auditorium, an updated gymnasium with new locker and weight rooms, new drama and band rooms, a greenhouse, updated athletic fields and facilities, increased parking, and improved vehicular circulation.
